Wood and Company Cabinetry Ltd. is the lifelong dream of owner and operator Clayton Wood — a proud Comox Valley local, North Island College Carpentry graduate, and Red Seal Journeyman Carpenter. Clayton began his career apprenticing with local builders, honing his skills in new construction, renovations, and finishing carpentry. Over time, his passion for creating beautiful, functional spaces naturally led him to focus on cabinetry and custom interiors — where craftsmanship and creativity meet.
For the past five years, Clayton has been building Wood and Company with a clear vision: to offer a seamless, start-to-finish cabinetry experience. From initial design to construction and installation, every step is handled in-house. In 2022, that vision came to life with the opening of a dedicated workshop and office space, complete with state-of-the-art cabinetry equipment.
Today, Clayton and his skilled team proudly serve the Comox Valley and surrounding areas, delivering custom cabinetry that blends precision craftsmanship with thoughtful design. Clayton Wood – Owner and Operator
A proud Comox Valley local for the past 35 years, Clayton is the driving force behind Wood and Company. As owner and operator, he manages client bookings, oversees every project, and ensures the shop runs smoothly from start to finish.
Ryan Frenette – Installation Foreman
A lifelong Vancouver Islander, Ryan has spent the past 20 years residing here in the Comox Valley. As Installation Foreman, he brings each project to life on-site with expert precision and care. His leadership and skill guarantee every installation is completed with the quality and professionalism clients expect from Wood and Company.
Mike McDonald – Shop Foreman
Originally from Newcastle, New Brunswick, Mike has called the Comox Valley home since 1991. As Shop Foreman, he oversees every stage of production – from precise cuts to finished builds and final delivery. His attention to detail and hands-on expertise ensure every project meets Wood and Company’s high standards of craftsmanship.
